YOUR PROJECT DESERVES A SITE OF ITS OWN
What is Google Sites?
Google Sites is Google's way for users to create sites quickly without any knowledge of coding or Web development. It can be used to create project-tracking sites or companywide intranets. Other Google apps like Docs, Sheets, and even Calendar can be added to such sites. A website made using Google Sites can accommodate a rotating image carousel, a navigation menu of choice, a map, YouTube videos, and more. Its design will also be responsive, looking great on any monitor.
Editing made intuitive: Drop in all sorts of applications from documents to videos to images to shared calendars and more. Google Sites uses an intuitive editor for creating and updating sites that makes it as easy as writing a document.
Custom Web address: Map your project site made using Google Sites to appear at a Web domain that you already own at a registrar. Alternately, you could map it to a domain purchased using Google Domains.
Make use of templates: Create customized templates with your company's colors and logos and share them privately in your organization. Alternately, use a pre-built template.
Cloud search: Add a Cloud Search box to your site after making sure Cloud Search is enabled for your domain. Cloud Search will power your search for documents and media throughout the enterprise and locate them quickly and easily.
No-limit sites: Loads of storage. Your Google Sites and their content doesn't count towards the overall storage limits of your Google Workspace plan. This is because images and other content added to a site are stored within it, and not added to Google Drive.
Security is Google’s forte: Google Sites is designed for security and reliability with features like encrypted connections to Google's servers, real-time file save, simultaneous replicated storage for sites, built-in disaster recovery and fine-grained sharing controls that let you share your work with the right people.
DID YOU KNOW?
You can add other editors to your site and work along with them. Once added, an editor can open a site whenever that person is ready and do edits simultaneously with you.
forms are great
Many Sites users find Forms a powerful addition to their Google toolbox. Customers can fill up the form right from the site. Forms are a great fit for questionnaires, contact responses, and surveys.
Forms are available on the “Insert” tab of Google Sites and can be embedded in one click.
